Video: Mexican gay asylum seeker tells San Diegans his story

Source:

During the San Diego Alliance for Marriage (SAME)  rally - for Our Street! Our Lives! One is too Many! 26 March this man (name withheld) spoke.

This is an important story about a young gay man seeking asylum in the USA, because his life is in danger for being gay in his native country of Mexico. He's survived rape and torture in Mexico. Even his mother is being harassed for supporting her gay son.

He realizes that homophobia is rampant on both sides of the border. The difference is that in the USA the police will get in trouble for harassing/ torturing an LGBT person, but in Mexico they can get away with this.
