Help needed with doctoral research

If you are a woman who has claimed asylum based on same sex experiences and homophobic persecution and would like to participate in a new research study - then please get in touch.

The research is for Doctorate study at the University of Sussex.

I am interested in hearing your perspectives about:

• homophobic persecution - including rape and sexual violence
• the UK asylum process - including whether you had to evidence your sexuality - experiences of detention - whether you were considered credible or not credible
• what you feel and understand about the UK asylum process
• what is it like to be a lesbian asylum seeker/refugee in the UK
