Saeid is a 23 years old Iranian gay man who left Iran for Canada one year ago. He claimed refugee status on base of his sexual orientation and well-known fear of persecution.
IRanian Queer Railroad (IRQR) submitted its full report on queer human rights violation in Islamic Republic of Iran and other documents to support his asylum claim and followed up his process very seriously. We were in contact with his lawyer and Refugee and Immigration Board of Canada. We are happy to announce that his claim accepted today at his first hearing in Toronto.
IRQR is helping those who escape Iran on base of their sexual orientation and seeking asylum. IRQR is proud to accompany them in this long journey but without your help our hands is so tied.
