He is in the Dutch detention centre of Zestienhoven, at Rotterdam airport. He may be allowed to remain in the Netherlands, according to the Dublin Regulation which regulates requests for asylum. Representatives from Gay Asylum UK are supporting him and his UK-based uncle. He is on hunger strike and suicide watch.
