Video: Testimony to Cambridge, MA City Council in support of Uniting American Families Act

Source: Out4Immigration

Earlier last week, the city of Cambridge, MA passed a resolution in support of the Uniting American Families Act (UAFA). O4I member Debbie Ellis worked with Tom Tierney, our lead volunteer in this grassroots campaign to get local and state support for equal immigration rights for same-sex binational couples.

Here's a video of Debbie testifying in front of the Cambridge City Council to urge them to vote for the resolution in support of UAFA. Out4Immigration thanks Debbie for her courage in speaking out for all of us, and Tom for continuing to work with local municipalities and state legislators in identifying supporters and connecting them with local O4I members like Debbie, who can then attend a hearing and deliver testimony.

Anyone interested in getting your city or state on board in support of UAFA and equal immigration rights for same-sex binational couples should contact Tom Tierney at tom@out4immigration.org.
