Four gay Iranians have Canadian sanctuary

Iranian Railroad for Queer Refugees (IRQR) is reporting that four gay Iranians have moved to sanctuary in Canada through the UNHCR. They are Shayan, Saman, Mohammad, and Hamid.

Ramak, a 36 year-old Iranian gay man who left Iran to Malaysia on the basis of his sexual orientation, has been accepted as a refugee by the UNHCR in Kuala Lumpur.

IRQR is also reporting that an Iranian gay man Mohammad has been accepted by the UK from the UNHCR refugee program.
